The next three games Empty The next three games

We have three games left - Brentford away on Saturday, Plymouth away on Monday and Walsall at home on Saturday the 7th. Huddersfield have two games left, away at Brighton on Saturday and then at home to Brentford the following Saturday. Both teams are on 83 points but Saints have a vastly superior goal difference of 13 which is as good as a point.

So...if we win at Brentford on Saturday and Hudderfield also win at Brighton, we still need to win one more game to go up. If we win and Huddersfield lose, we are as good as up, thanks to our goal difference, which is the ideal scenario as it takes (99% of) the pressure off.

So, two wins will see us up, barring Huddersfield getting freak results such as beating both Brighton and Brentford 8-0 in each game.

Have I missed anything? I haven't mentioned Saints losing as I don't even want to entertain the thought... pale

Too many possible result permutations to fathom.........but the easy way to look at it...........Saints need (from 3 games) at least the equal number of points that Huddersfield get from their 2 games.
