Eddie Howe is staying at Bournemouth. From a Saints point of view it's not good news because I think Bournemouth would slip out of the promotion scene if he'd gone, as it is he's got them punching well above their meagre weight. Personally, I think Howe is in his comfort zone there and is never going to achieve much as he hasn't got the bottle to leave (I know the same could have been said about Le Tiss when he remained at Saints instead of moving on) for bigger things.
I wonder if Eddie Mitchell has given him an improved deal and, if so, who are they going to have to sell in order to pay for it?

It's not entirely Saints-related but I don't know where else to put this as there are no other dedicated football sub-forums here.

That's why I am not listening to it until kick off. Fair enough, Bournemouth are a fellow Radio Solent area team as are - unfortunately - the skates but the recent love-in has been a bit over the top. On Saturday they talked before kick off about Howe and guess what was the main topic of conversation during the post-match discussion? Yep, Howe again. Us and the skates got barely a look in.

It looks like the Howe circus has started up again with reports on the BBC indicating that Howe is set to be unveiled as the new Burnley manager at the weekend. Annoying as some of them are, I am beginning to feel some sympathy towards Bournemouth fans because they're being messed around, I bet they're pissed off, I know I'd be.

Thanks for the sympathy Nos. It will be a sickener if he goes but I still believe (although maybe its a forlorn dream ) that he will stay!!

Going on recent form, I also think he will stay with you but he's getting a reputation for messing clubs and fans about.
