FORMER SAINTS BACK ON LOAN.....(pure imagination)

Reading TeamSaint's post on another thread about the possibility of Andrew Surman coming back to St Marys on loan has started me thinking. In a dream world which former Saints still playing for other teams would you like to see come back?

Theo Walcott? Gareth Bale? Kenwynne Jones? James Beattie? Wayne Bridge? Antti Niemi? Brett Ormerod? Kevin Davies? Kevin Philips? Nigel Quashie? Chris Baird? Dexter Blackstock? Any I have forgotten? Give them a rating out of 10.

Walcott 10
Jones 10
Bale 9
Baird 8

Surman 8 might not like the physical side
Bale 8 great going forward but we still leak goals with gareth in the side
Walcott 8 another who would strugle with the physical side of the game
Jones 9 would love to see him and Lambert together, looks like he could be moving
Blackstock 9 he would be the one for to get if available
Baird 9 missed the boat unfortunatey, at start of season out of favour but now back in first team.

Most of the others probably past their sell by date, Beats up to his clubbing days again, will get to see Quashie as on loan at MK Dons,

I always rated Blackstock better than Leon Best (real attitude problem) and he will get you 15 goals in championship probably 20 in Div 1. Ig he works, and AP is a manager I think could get that then he could be another goal scroing threat up front. That said would still prefer the defence to be strenghtened first.

Kenwyne 9 - would b a magnificent foil with Ricky
Theo 7 - would have a couple of outstanding games but the harsh reality of playing against bruisers.
Drew 8 - I feel Adam is a better player now that Drew has gone.
Gareth 7 - would be good and we could help him learn.
Wayne 9 - would be a great signing
Baird 7 - makes too many false moves for me. Tho is probably better than what we have now.
Blackstock 6 - no thanks

The rest are too old.

Interesting to see a player that could play RB and 2 LB's in that list.
