Re: WALSALL ON SATURDAY..............IS BERNIE SADDLER RIGHT?
I'm confident we'll get something from the game, even if it's a draw, with two in-form teams it should be a decent match. I don't think Bernie Saddler was right, even if he did go on to express himself in the wrong way. We won't get hammered but a win will be hard.

Have to agree expecting a tough game but think a draw is on the cards. When we had Hartle, Wycomb and Walsall thought we had to get 7 points to be on course, 6 so far so point today will be okay.

Re: WALSALL ON SATURDAY..............IS BERNIE SADDLER RIGHT?
Connolly is back in the side, in a 4-4-2 formation. No Papa Waigo, he's not travelled due to a back problem.
If we slip up today and Brighton win, we'll end up back in the relegation zone, so getting at least a point is vital. It wouldn't be a disaster but it would be a little demoralising.

Just getting underway.
Walsall have a corner already. Great start Saints - not.

Hammond scores but it sounded as though Connolly did all the hard work

According to the BBC Sport text it was Lambert. Oh well, who cares?
Edit: they've corrected it now, definitely Hammond's goal.

We are bombarding them. HT now. One of their lot should have just been sent off for kicking Harding. Lineswoman apparently was right next to it.

Half time. What an excellent half. More of the same please Saints, in the second half.
The linesman failed to spot a Walsall player kicking out at one of our players. He should have gone but she (not a mistype, it's a woman lino - cue sexist drivel on Saintsweb) didn't spot it.

indeed.
It's just occurred to me that maybe, given this age of political correctness, I should have typed 'linesperson'. Although, to be really accurate, I should have put 'referee's assistant'.
