On Ugly Inside.....

David Connolly had to leave his celebrating teamates and head to hospital after the win against MK Dons.

Connolly had sealed the win with an injury time goal to ensure that the Dons wouldnt sneak a last minute equaliser, but after the game his right elbow started to swell after an earlier fall on it.

Whilst the Saints medical team were fairly confident thaat there was no break, they were taking to chances and sent him off for an X Ray.

Hopefully it will be all clear and Connolly will be fit to keep scoring at Orient next week.

FINGERS CROSSED FOR CONNOLLY Empty Re: FINGERS CROSSED FOR CONNOLLY

From today's Daily Echo:

David Connolly required treatment for an awkward fall on his elbow.

Saints initially decided to take him to hospital for an x-ray but then decided it was not as serious as first feared and they opted to heavily ice it instead.

He will be checked over by the club’s medical staff again today to try and ensure he is available for Saturday’s game at Leyton Orient.

Hopefully he'll be fine to continue his scoring run... bounce
