Not heard anything yet and whether Murty will get a contract now.

Imagine Murty will get contract as Padrew knows him from Reading days.

Wonder how his leg is after having to go off on Saturday. Pardew Knowing him could work both ways. As he knows him he will know how he was 4 years ago. Seeing him now will tell Pards whether he will still be able to do a job for us now. From what I saw against Ajax he did look as though he knew how to defend. His fitness level let him down a bit but that should be corrected with some serious effort on his behalf. I would be tempted if he can show improved fitness.
