SOUTHAMPTON WORLD'S PLAYER OF THE SEASON

Matty and Pete would you like to place your top 5 Saints players in order 1-5 and I'll work out the Player of the Season?   I imagine this is going to be between 2 players.....

1. Romeu - number 1 for me as he was very good all season

2. VVD - excellent until injured

3. Yoshida - not great, but a real trier

4. Bertrand - but I'm

5. Gabbiadini - shone briefly before injured but should be good next year. Could say the same about Austin but I doubt his physical durability

1. Romeo consistent best player throughout the season.
2. VVD may have won if that thug Vardy had not crocked him
3. Yoshida always gives his all and is modest, not a greed git like most footballers
4. Cedric defended well and go forward regularly
5. Ward Prowse definitely improved this season though often played out of position

The 2 of you are agreed on the top 3 and I have no argument with that so Romeu is our player of the season!!

Bit like manager of the month jinx, enjoy him for one more season, if he plays well again will be gone next summer

No Mike we only sell 3 of our stars, VVD, Bertrand, Cedric will probably go, was sort of hoping our 3 sales would be Martina, Tadic and Jrod, far less of a melt down
