A 2-0 win would be just fine.

We must be a bookies nightmare (or dream?) at the moment as no one can predict what will happen. I am going for 2 - 2 draw

Well a welcome 3 points, clean sheet and 2 wins in a row!

Not sure we can read to much into the win as Leicester were poor but it did seem a better performance, only 1 change from the side that played at Burnley so perhaps he is seeing what his best 11 is, allowing for Davies injury. Started quite well, good cross from Tadic saw Redmond with a decent chance but headed over, we had stacks of room down the sides and once we got our heads around that caused lots of problems with crosses. Nearly got caught on a break when a poor corner from Tadic lead to a break but Gray who was tricky but selfish shot straight at Forster. Saints took the lead with a well worked goal. Virgil won the ball on the left, switched to Cedric on the right, then played a 1-2 with Redmond, cutting into the box and passed to Ward Prowse to sweep past schmeichel.
Saints second came from a free kick, Ward Prowse swung in Huth had a poor header out but J Rod volleyed the loose ball past Schmeichel at his near post.

Second half pretty much the same, Hojberg had a good chance to shoot from the right side but tried to put swerve on the ball but went well wide of the far post, then should have scored when a loose ball from defence from Leicester saw him in similar position in the box but again shot wide of the far post, should really have scored. One negative was an injury to Virgil, really annoying as was a deliberate kick from Vardy on his ankle when he had no chance of getting the ball, Virgil tried to play on but came off after 5 minutes, hoping as a kick though painful should not be to bad. Only threat from Leicester was from set pieces but had one chance when Huth headed down and Morgan side footed over the bar when should have done better.

Saints scored a third when Morgan headed in an own goal but a strange decision after the event to cancel the goal. Lino was the one who didn't give yet never put his flag up. Didn't matter to much as we scored the third when Long got a run down left side, cut into the box and Morgan leant into him and Shane went down, Tadic took the penalty and to be fair a decent finish, for once hard and high so Schmeichel with no chance.

So 5 more wins and will be safe, hopefully Puel will try and stick with this side now, Hojberg in a more forward role is better than used in a defensive role, defensively we will need extra cover now Fonte has left. Stephens did okay but if you watch the game and the miss by Morgan look at Stephens positioning, he was with Morgan then just lost him so as a sub on the bench yes but we need a decent experienced CH.

Forster 7 didn't have much to do but generally looked more solid couple of decent saves and punches, kicking was better.
Cedric 8 really got forward well and solid at the back.
Virgil 6 was okay but not one of his best games but a shame about the injury
Yoshida 7 looked good today, kept it simple which works for me.
Bertrand 8 along with Cedric worked the flanks well.
Romeau 8 another strong game, won plenty of aerial challenges needed against a side like Leicester and broke up play.
Wrad Prowse 9 probably one of his best games for saints, good goal god set pieces and won the ball well
Hojberg 7 missed a couple of good chances due to lack of composure but will improve
Tadic 7 some good deliveries and penalty, fine as he didn't really have to defend today
Jrod 7 good for him to score not great in the air but works hard
Redmond 7 should have done better with the header, but worked well

Subs
Stephens 6 fairly solid when having to head clear, will have much harder games and lost Morgan for their best chance
Classie 6 came on for Hojberg and one player who I would look to pick if we ever go 442, brought strength to the middle
Long 6 didn't have much but was clever in winning the penalty

Leicester fans very unhappy, want Ranierie sacked, think they will go down. Have to say on that performance, and Hull and Swansea it is possible but they will have Mahrez coming back from African cup. Thought MORD coverage poor, didn't show Hojbergs efforts or the foul by Vardy on Virgil or two attempts by Redmond, would have only been another 10 seconds MOTD but prefer the action to listing to studio experts and would show the chances we did create

Thanks Matty. From my armchair, have to say I wasn't impressed by Hojberg's attempts on goal......thinking he'd be better always trying to pass rather than try himself if that's the best he can do.

Interesting Mike as at least he is keen to shoot unlike most of the midfield, just a question of getting some composure and a bit more work on the training pitch and at his age at least he has time to improve
