I think we will sign a goalkeeper if they get the chance, Kelvin is probably now looking at the coaching side and would be great if he had a role coaching the goalies in the U21s and Academy. Not sure about Gazzinger think he needs some match time outside premiership.

I have been told on Twitter that according to the Spanish media Saints have agreed a fee with Valencia for Banega.

I don't really understand why we would have put this on hold while the Wanyama deal went through, surely we could handle two transfers at the same time??  But now back from tour, perhaps we will see more in the way of transfer developments.

Well looks like Soldado will go to Spurs so not sure if Valencia will be keen to sell Banega, if we are after him then would suspect may be something with Ramerez move, hasn't featured in any of the friendlies don't think and wouldn't really need another midfield player with current squad.

Both Gaston and Maya have missed the beginning of our pre-season. Pochettino has been reported as complaining about the possible loss of both due to their playing in the Brazil tournament. He says both may still be short of match play and unfit for opening game at West Brom.

Could be an option if Ramerez is sold but midfield is already pretty strong both individually and as a unit. Would much rather see another striker
