I respect that Nicola Cortese is doing what he sees as best in his efforts to get Saints to the next level.....and I believe he appreciates what Nigel has done in the last couple of years.

But to show his gratitude wouldn't it be fantastic if Mr Cortese could hold a testimonial match for Nigel? It would be a tremendous night with St Mary's packed full.......and it would do Nicola's image with the media no harm at all.

Come on Nicola......go for it.....please!!

I think a testimonial is a fantastic idea, does anyone have contacts at the Echo cos they could start a petition.

Same here cannot see it happening, Cortese simply wouldnt approve. Also not sure Nigel would want it, he is a proud guy with nothing to feel ashamed about for what he achieved with saints. No doubt our paths will cross sometime when Nigel is back in management and sure saints fans will let him know our feelings. Personally once he does go to a new club may well go to his first game with some mates in saints shirts to cheer him and his new team whoever that is on.
