THE PENALTY!

Was Rodriguez fouled? Did he dive? Or did he fall without intent to deceive? What do you think??

Having watched it on MOTD, it initially looked as if JR was tripped but from other angles it looked as if he fell while trying to get out of the way. That didn't look like a blatant dive and I don't think he intended to deceive anyone. Anyway, I read somewhere that the penalty was given for the keeper bringing down Puncheon in the box, not for the JR fall/trip.

Having watched on Sky can't see would have been for puncheon challenge, goalie did take him out but was just momentum going through. Having seen J Rod this season dont think I have seen him go down any other time unless fouled so definitely not a player that dives. Looked to me like he fell and bit embarassed when penalty given but what is he supposed to do then, plead with the ref not to give it, fans would have lynched him!
