TWO OF THE FORUM'S CELEBRITY MEMBERS WIN OLYMPIC MEDALS!!

Congratulations from all of us go to Greg Rutherford for his gold medal in the long jump and to Christine Uhuruogo for her silver in the 400 metres! They both recently joined the forum and took part in question and answer sessions for us.
Also a big 'well done' to the other stars who came on here and did their best for Team GB but were unlucky this time.

Congratulations to them and the rest of Team GB for a fabulous Olympics!

Only final I saw was the footie but did go to the athletics, rowing and womens weightlifting (mate won tickets for the weightlifting) and was great atmosphere everywhere and really well organised. Only hassle was at wembley for the footie when 2 out of 3 of the beer pumps broke down at half time and they insisted couldnt take the beer to seats, foreigners really struggled to understand why. At the athletics the guys were walking around with back packs inside the stadium selling beer!

Officialdom, ya gotta love it.

Matty sadly I must agree. It was a bit like the last Ashes series (and probably the next) to be honest.
