Richard Chaplow

Good signing in getting Chaplow even if only initially for a month. Liked him when he was on loan here before and should help strengthen the midfield

If he is as good as he was when he was here last,we have a really good midfielder for this level.I think he could be just what we are looking for,chuffed with this,hope it works out.

PNE have sacked Ferguson but rumour has it (SWeb, I know) that the deal for Saints to sign Chaplow is done, so hopefully he won't be getting summoned back north.

It is a done deal, it was on Radio Solent just now. He's signed a 2 and a half year deal for an undisclosed fee. Great signing and I hope he continues to play the way he has been doing. Our gain is Preston's loss.

100% agree with you Nostromo, great signing and by all accounts for a nominal fee. Need him to stay fit as think he will be a crucial player in our mounting list of away games. He wont hide on those midweek february nights on a mudbath but will get stuck in and win the ball, what we were sadly missing last season.

I hope Chaplow remains a Saint for a very long time.
